I made one of these for my 2016 1k xp simply because this summer when I touched my back right shock after a couple of hours of riding, it burned my hand, not severely, but it hurt! Fast forward to now and my recent purchase of a 2017 1000xp. The shock reservoir has been moved down from the cage to the shock, right next to the head pipe. I knew before I even rode it that it would be a problem, so the first thing I did was make one for the new buggy. Worked great, so we thought everyone with the 1000xp or S could use one of these. Makes perfect sense since the left shock was running at 98° F and the right shock was at 150° F. All that heat can’t be good for your expensive shocks and the temperature difference will surly cause uneven shock performance. This heat shield will work on all of the 1000 XP and S models, 2015 through 2017, that have had the recall work completed. Easily installs in just a few minutes using the existing bed heat shield bolt and one self tapping screw, into the bed heat shield.

These are AMAZING!!! I wont ride without a set ever again. One of the best fitting goggles I’ve had and the mask is soo comfortable you can barely even tell its there!!

Ok, I thought it best that I check back in and tell you how I liked the goggles. Rode with them yesterday. The best I’ve ever worn. I wear glasses and with my Oakleys they fog up when I ride. Not so with the Premium goggles.
